There isn't much to be said about folk music that hasn't already been said. I like it. Maybe you do and maybe you don't. But Tom Paxton was in there with the Folk Revival of the 1960 era and remains an active part of the genre. Heck, he has a Web site, is touring and is still actively writing and selling his music.
